Riley is the pony that started Scarborough Farm.
Bought as a driving pony, Riley excelled in combined
driving events until founder cut her career short
after only two years. We decided to breed Riley in the hope
of having another superior driving pony to follow in her
hoofprints. But finding pony stallions for breeding
consideration in the Dallas area yielded only a few
nondescript prospects. We then decided to purchase our
own stallion for breeding and a nationwide search culminated
with the decision to bring Caris Royal Guardsman LOM to Parker, Texas.

Welsh pony mare Riley, the dam of Scarborough Toy Soldier, now lives in Oklahoma.
